Bearing WitnessBearing Witness presents art that reflects a number of social and political conditions, from the effects of war, government action and industrial exploitation, to the social dynamics of society, especially in relation to gender and identity politics. Featuring work by 27 twentieth century artists, including Ed Burtynsky, Magdalena Campos-Pons, Leon Golub and Nancy Spero, the works in the exhibition bear witness to the powerful forces that shape our lives and the world.
