Weekly Family Programs
Every weekend the Gallery offers unique activities geared towards 5 to 12 year old visitors and their families. For those wishing to bring a group, we recommend a ratio of one adult for every four children. Private groups may also be arranged for a fee by phoning 604 662 4717.
Weekly Family Programs are free with Gallery admission.

Art Tracks are child-oriented tours led by artists, educators, dancers, musicians and others offering interdisciplinary ways of looking and thinking about art.

The Making Place
Second and Fourth Sunday, 12pm–4pm
In the Gallery, 4th floor

The Making Place offers explorative, hands-on workshops featuring collaborative and independent activities for all kinds of making. Bring your own camera to capture your child’s projects. Note: cameras are allowed in The Making Place only.

Make, Move, Discover! Step into the Vancouver Art Gallery and see another point of view Through the Lens at the spring Family FUSE Weekend. Change the angle, look again, and shift the focus in a series of inspired, creative and fun performances, workshops, tours and hands-on activities for families. Artists, musicians, dancers and performers will show you creative ways to see the world through other eyes.

Gallery Members and children age–12–and–under are free when accompanied by an adult. Regular Admission Rates apply. $17.50 Adults, $12.50 Senior (65+), $12.50 Student (with valid ID). For more information about Family FUSE Weekend call 604.662.4700.
